SK8 or Depression
This is on my friend and client Ed, whom I met at tattoo conventions when I was starting out. It is a succesful showing of a haphazardly planned out half sleeve that we pulled off or together in the end. Ed got his first tattoo from me at a show, the bullet hole smiley face to add to his already existing smileyface and crossbones. At a later date i Tattooed Ed's request for a goth skater girl. Finally Ed grew tired of having a nonsensical hodgepodge of tattoos so we collaborated a setting for his tattoos. I had a good time executing this tattoo. Having once gone to trade school for drafting I've always enjoyed architechture. I love the moodiness we were able to bring to this tattoo. Small details abound in a tasteful manner. The J&N oil sign, and 803 area graffiti have personal signifigance to Ed. And the nrat, trash, pizza, banna peel, and Ed"14" tag were all bonus' Ed got to find in the days and weeks living with his new tattoo.
